Question 1

How does pricing actually work?

Accepted Answer

Every account starts with a flat $99 demand letter fee, paid at placement. If the letter resolves it, that's the only charge. If not, a one-time $250 escalation fee opens active collection work. From there, contingency is charged only on what's recovered, at a rate set by how overdue the invoice already was when you placed it: 15% if under 90 days overdue, 20% for 90–180 days, 25% for 180+ days.

Question 2

What kinds of debt do you handle?

Accepted Answer

Only commercial, business-to-business receivables — unpaid invoices between companies. We do not work consumer or personal debt of any kind.

Question 3

How long does recovery typically take?

Accepted Answer

Many accounts resolve within the first few weeks of placement. Timelines vary with account age and debtor responsiveness, and you'll have visibility throughout.

Question 4

Will this damage our relationship with the client?

Accepted Answer

Our approach is built to preserve the relationship where possible, through professional, direct communication rather than aggressive consumer-style tactics.

Question 5

What happens if an account doesn't respond?

Accepted Answer

Unresponsive accounts move into pre-litigation escalation through our commercial collections attorney network once the $250 escalation fee is paid.

Question 6

Is the $99 letter fee separate from the escalation and contingency fees?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all three are separate. The $99 covers the demand letter and is due at placement. The $250 escalation fee is charged once, only if the letter doesn't resolve the account. Contingency is calculated only on what's recovered after that.

Question 7

Does my rate go up if it takes longer for you to collect?

Accepted Answer

No. Your contingency rate is set once, at placement, based on how overdue the invoice already was at that moment. It does not change based on how long our process takes afterward.

Question 8

What would this actually cost on a real invoice?

Accepted Answer

On a $10,000 invoice that was under 90 days overdue when placed: if the letter alone resolves it, you pay $99 and keep $9,901. If it escalates and we recover it, total fees are $1,849 (99 + 250 + 15%), and you keep $8,151.

Question 9

Who can I place an account against?

Accepted Answer

Any business, LLC, corporation, partnership, or other commercial entity that owes your company money. Any business-to-business debt qualifies.

Question 10

How do we place an account?
